About this event

Sun Mountain and Winthrop offer 130 miles of groomed trails and spectacular flat valley and mountain terrain cross-country skiing at all levels.  February is the best month for snow at Winthrop and Okanogan County.  This is some of the best cross-country skiing in the country according to X-Country Skier Magazine.

Please join Ski Buddies and Trip Leader Paul Horne in the beautiful Methow Valley January 25th to the 28th, 2024 to ski the second largest groomed Nordic ski area in the USA. Over 130 miles of groomed Nordic ski trails meander around the stunning Methow Valley.

We will again be staying in a beautiful Twisp, rustic cowboy themed, home next to the river.  This home includes a wonderful outdoor inground hot tub overlooking the river with beautiful mountain and river views.  The trip includes four nights lodging.
Our first night will be a potluck dinner with furnished meats.  The attendees will bring side dishes.  The trip includes three additional dinners as well as four breakfasts and ski apres every afternoon. Trail passes are not included. There are 4 queen and 3 single beds available.  The cost of this fabulous trip is $445.

This is always a wonderful trip filled with camaraderie, cocktails by the fireplace and of course, fun skiing with gorgeous views.
