Join Ski Buddies for a fun filled night at this year's Warren Miller film - FACE of WINTER. For those going, purchase your own ticket and let the club members know using the club's Forums. We can arrange a meet up before the movie begins at a local pub for happy hour!
Loving the unadulterated joys of winter is something we all have in common with the late, great Warren Miller--who helped create and capture the magic of skiing. This year, new and veteran athletes alike pay tribute to the man who started it all in Face of Winter, the 69th installment from Warren Miller Entertainment (WME), presented by Volkswagen.
In this 69th chapter, watch as world-class athletes such as Anna Segal, Dash Longe, Forrest Jillson, Amie Engerbretson, Simon Hillis, Seth Wescott, Jim Ryan, Jess McMillan, and others carve the faces of remote mountain ranges and pursue the thrills of a life lived in high places.
Join us for our second potluck of the season to talk about early season plans as well as to sign up for new trips. Bring your favorite dish and/or drinks to share (main dishes, sides dishes and drinks are strongly encouraged)!

Trip & Lodge Lowdown: The Stevens Pass Weekend is the longest running Ski Buddies trip (37th consecutive year since 1982!) and one of the most popular. We again have exclusive use of our favorite Cabin, just off the Highway and within two miles of Stevens Pass downhill area and only a few miles from the Nordic Center.
The log and granite cabin offers a rustic feel yet features a full kitchen, three bathrooms, showers, sauna, outdoor hot tub, two fireplaces, and comfortable seating for conversation, dining and games. Sleeping is on the third-floor loft with foam mats provided.
Prices will also include very basic continental breakfasts. Most dinners tend to be a potluck with the Saturday dinner as the main potluck where we invite others to join us up in the mountain for the day and then come back to the cabin to enjoy a nice dinner before heading home.
Lunches, dinners, lift tickets and transportation are participants’ responsibility through most dinners tend to be potlucks with people sharing dishes.
This trip is perfect for those new to Ski Buddies and provides a lot of social interaction throughout the weekend. Prepare for games, music and fun.
Join Us for the Day or Saturday Potluck: Club members are welcome to join us during the day or meet us at lunch time if they come up for the day. Feel free to contact the trip leader by texting his cell phone (Cell service is spotty, so texting works the best). We’ll try to meet up around 9AM at the Clock each day on Friday and Saturday. As always, we have our official potluck on Saturday night and all are welcome to come back with us and enjoy dinner before heading back (or pass out at the lodge)
